Anderson
I see many comments of people who bought a house in Spain and in a little time found out that there are deffects which she didn't see before the deal is signed. In Spanish real estate there is no warranty, so we buy the property at our own risk and I'm sure it is important to hire a professional to perform technical checks before the deal is signed. Yapi
It is actually a good idea. I would make it if I knew someone reliable in this area to check the construction, electrical system, pipes and etc, so I'll be more knowledgable about my new home. Jenni
I think it is not only about the house. It is important to check any type of real estate to buy without any surprise. Another thing which I would use is to make an estimate of renovating cost. When I bought my apartment, I planned some renovations of the bathrooms and the kitchen, but my estimate of how much it would cost had nothing to do with the reality, because I missed some important bits from my calculations, so it was totally wrong. Olga
100% agree... but I am wondering why it is not common??
Anderson
No, it is not a common rule. So people just accept level of the risk with secured deposits and insurance and then have headaches when the tenant moving away for the property. Not sure what is the reason it is widely accepted.
