Yapi
My partner, who is Spanish, and I, a non-EU citizen, are looking to purchase a car. We both recently became self-employed. What are the requirements to buy a new car? Could we purchase it in monthly payments and, if so, do we need to provide evidence of our income for at least one year? As a recently registered autonomo, would there be any issues with purchasing a car? Do we need to limit ourselves to working with banks only? Can car galleries offer payment plans? All ideas are welcomed. I appreciate your help!
Olga
I would recommend to lease a car rather than buy it if you are not planning to drive a lot... Why? Because you will be able to discount the monthly payments from your income, while buying a car - you will be able only to amortise a vehicle, and even not all the vehicles... depending on the nature of your work.
