Groupy
We have a property in Spain, but our primary residence is in the United Kingdom. We are looking to make a will which is identical to a British will. Before we were married, we had already purchased the property. Could this be an obstacle when drafting the will? Does anyone know of an affordable attorney to help with this? The will is simple. Edited January 17 by Groupy
Olga
It depends on how you purchase your property: 50/50 or not. If yes, so only your part will be "gifted". But you can make a will on your part of the property for sure, not a problem at all, just include your wording "as per your country of origin". But you should make it at the notary and then legalise it in the UK.
