Work in Spain without speaking Spanish - what options do I really have?

I'm curious to know what job options are available to expats who don't speak Spanish. I'm thinking of moving to Calp, which is located just 20 minutes away from Benidorm, and I have experience in communications and marketing in the public sector (including the NHS and government departments) in the UK. I'm unsure of the best job to pursue that would equal my current income. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

To manage your expectations, work backward if you are part of an expat group and are left asking yourself, “How will I make money now?”

Devise a strategy for your work before you think of anything else. It appears that you need to take a step back since you don't know what to do for work.

An important question to ask yourself is, what will my living situation be like? Do you have full work rights as a citizen of the European Union? What specific ways are you looking for to live and work in Spain? This will aid you in comprehending the work boundaries you possess.

As a marketing/communications specialist, use the same skills you have from your job when working on this 'project'.

Watch out for the empty promises of starting an online business that will appear in the comments. Creating a successful company that pays a livable income is a tremendous challenge and anyone who claims it's easy doesn't know what they're talking about. (I'm an e-commerce professional with experience and my own side business to back this up.).

Efforts to start an online business can be tempting, but beware of empty promises in the comments. Building a successful business that generates enough income to live on is a big thing. Many foreign investors seek to obtain Spanish residency through an investment. This can be an excellent opportunity for those looking to settle in Spain, but there are a few important things to keep in mind before making the decision. Spanish investment residency is granted to those who invest a significant amount in the country. The Spanish residence by investment offers foreigners the opportunity to obtain a permanent residence in Spain. This is achieved by making a significant investment in the country - you can read about this type of visa here.
